Challenge

I am grateful that I have time to have a cup of fresh brewed coffee, a slice of wheat toast with almond butter and a peach for sahur this morning. 

In previous years I had such some challenge moments during day times when I smelled brewed coffee when I walked past Dunkin Donuts of Starbuck. This year, I'm not having those moments. Even when someone sits next to me with a cup of coffee in her hand.
Therefore, I am grateful.

Luscious

I am grateful for a luscious day outside. The sun shines, warm and fuzzy. The breeze carries a whiff of chicken masala from my neighbor's kitchen below my apartment which reminds me of sambal tumis leftover in my refrigerator that I can have it later for buka puasa.
